For me, photography is capturing a moment in time that can never be recreated. I love taking picture because of this. In 3 days 3 months or 3 years I can go back and look at these, recall what happened when I was taking the shot and remember the memories that this photograph holds.  At the beginning of the semester, I didn't know what the rule of thirds was, or if I just thought a little more before taking the picture how much it could impact the final result. Throughout this seemingly short semester, I have learned to focus on the shot and make it my own. I am glad that I took this class because I have learned about contrast, lighting, how the focus effects the impact of an image and if you hop on a chair or get down on the ground your shot can look totally different. The other part of photography that I love is being outside. The majority of my shots are taken outside not only because there is better lighting, but also because I love capturing nature with my dogs, chickens or objects that bring back memories.My overall theme for my images is things that I enjoy. My shots mainly focus on an object in nature and my pets.
